How Artificial Grass Pitches Created Our Football League
In the last year, a business constructed some artificial football pitches in an open location in our community. It has to be said they have done an excellent and thorough task, with really impressive lighting there too. Since the artificial pitches have opened, a number of us have organised a 5-a-side football league - 21 squads, and about 135 players in all. We meet up three days per calendar week where various matches are participated in and also spectated on. It’s a fantastic way to stay healthy, and all of us pay the private organization our contribution to using their pitches.
It’s great that firms are inventive with their employment of space - they might have developed houses on this land, but instead determined a contrasting, and perhaps more positive, use of this location. They quoted a price per hour for the use of a single artificial pitch. Nevertheless, following a meeting, we all agreed to pay the organization two times more than the price they told us. We wanted to pay more than the quoted price as a thank you to the private organization, and to show an object lesson of how thankful we are of them to construct these surfaces in such a fantastic position for the vast majority of the participants. We also agreed to pay 100% of the costs towards artificial grass upkeep too. The primary matter for everyone is that we want these artificial pitches in our residential district for the long-term - so our children can use them too.
